With the reconnaissance compound of the army corps of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) stationed in the Republic of Crimea, a planned tactical and special exercise (TSU) is being conducted.

As part of the exercise, reconnaissance units are practicing various options for moving to the area of ​​mission performance, both on the ground, as part of military columns, and by air using army aviation helicopters.

On the march, the tasks of combat security and all-round support of military columns, overcoming contaminated areas of the terrain, conducting reconnaissance using UAVs, repelling an attack of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of a conditional enemy and strikes of his aircraft, evacuating conditionally wounded from combat vehicles and providing them with first aid were practiced.

Directly at the training range, scouts at different times of the day improve their skills in organizing observation posts, reconnaissance ambushes, searching for the base of a simulated enemy, conducting patrols, and also practicing camouflage techniques, covert movement and equipment of resting places.

During the exercise, subunit command groups focus on organizing effective reconnaissance using Strelets systems, which ensure the solution of the main tasks of combat command and control of subunits, communication and information transfer between commanders and subordinates, data analysis and target designation for the use of high-precision weapons.

The TSU employs about 300 servicemen and about 100 units of military equipment, including armored vehicles “Lynx”, “Tiger” and “Typhoon”.
