In the regions of Butyrsky and Severnoye Medvedkovo, two territories of the former industrial zones will be transformed, in Altufevsky and Otradnoye – one each. The size of the plots varies from 1.4 to 29 hectares.

The project provides for the construction of more than 1.5 million square meters of real estate, said the head of the capital Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Alexander Prokhorov.

“The projects will make it possible to create 497 thousand square meters of modern production facilities in the North-Eastern Administrative District, and public and business facilities will occupy more than 697 thousand square meters. In addition, 337.5 thousand square meters of housing will be built, including 111.5 thousand square meters under the renovation program, ”the head of the department said.

Investments in the development of the industrial zone will amount to almost 14 billion rubles, the budgetary effect – about 1.8 billion rubles. Its implementation period is designed for six years, but the investor plans to complete the construction by 2024.

In November last year, the country’s first auction was held in Moscow for the right to conclude an agreement on MCT, within the framework of which the Korovino industrial zone will be reorganized.

In June, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, two more agreements were signed on the integrated development of industrial zones at the initiative of copyright holders. Thanks to the Industrial Quarters project, the Korovino and Kuntsevo industrial zones located in the north and west of Moscow, respectively, will gain a second life.
