This camp is aimed at combat training, boxers practice their technique in pairs, and individual work is also conducted. Athletes train at the sports complex of the St. Petersburg branch of CSKA and in the Central Hall of the Boxing Federation of St. Petersburg named after I.S. Andreeva.

“If we assess readiness on a five-point scale, then we are ready for the top five,” said the head of the team, the senior coach of the sports team (in boxing), Major Maxim Chudakov. – The last stage of preparation for the World Championship, the training camp, is underway. We work mainly in pairs, as well as individual work. We are waiting for the highest results from our team. The task is to take the first team-wide place. All athletes are in tune and ready for the championship. “

The final composition of the boxers of the Russian Armed Forces national team, who will represent the country at the upcoming world championship in ten men’s and five women’s weight categories, will be determined on September 8 based on the results of sparring.

A cultural and leisure program is also being successfully implemented, within the framework of which members of the Russian Armed Forces team attended a hockey match between the SKA and Admiral teams.
