Youth Army activists took part in the International Inclusive Cybersport Tournament, whose task is to convey to every child with disabilities that in the 21st century his possibilities are endless, and he can live a bright, eventful and fulfilling life, taking an active part in various events. In addition to children from Russia, children from Vietnam participate in the tournament.
“Now e-sports allows children with disabilities, who find it difficult or almost impossible to practice traditional sports, to find new friends and their place in our world,” said Nikita Nagorny, Chief of the Youth Army’s headquarters. “These games form the skills needed in emerging high-tech industries. And racing drone pilots and cybersecurity specialists are among the most in-demand specialists at the moment. “
Project goals: development and promotion of “special cyber movement” in Russia, CIS countries, near and far abroad; involvement of new participants from among the “special children”; drawing the attention of state, public and other organizations to the problems of people with disabilities; activation of the activities of organizations carrying out work on rehabilitation, adaptation to life and integration in the society of disabled people by means of physical culture and sports, as well as with the help of Internet technologies.
According to the young soldier Maxim Mukhin, who took second place in the discipline “cyberdron management”, sport is an opportunity to push any boundaries.
Every year, eSports tournaments for children, adolescents and youth with special needs are supported by famous politicians, artists, public figures and representatives of the press. So this time, among the guests of honor of the event are Dmitry Smith, President of the Russian Computer Sports Federation, Mikhail Terentyev, State Duma Deputy, Le Chung Shon, President of the Association of Vietnamese Businessmen, and others.
