The exposition of the museum includes aircraft Il-62, ZMS-2, An-2, An-12, An-24, Tu-95, Tu-22, Tu-134, L-39; cruise missiles Kh-55, Kh-22nA, Kh-20m, KSR-2ud; aerial bombs – FAB-9000m, FAB-5000m, FAB-3000m, FAB-1500m, FAB-500m, FAB-250m, FAB-250ts, SAB-250t, OFAB-250, NOSAB-100tk, DOSAB-100tk; historically valuable items, including paraphernalia of long-range aviation, memorable photographs, wreckage of rare aircraft.

The most frequent visitors to the museum are schoolchildren and students, with whom a large military-patriotic work is carried out.

For reference: The place for the museum at the Engels airfield was not chosen by chance. Since 1932, he has gone from an aviation school of pilots to the largest strategic aviation airbase in Russia. In 1941-1942. under the command of the famous pilot, Major Maria Raskova, in Engels, three female aviation regiments were formed and prepared for combat work, flying on three types of aircraft. In total, during the war years, more than three thousand winged defenders of the homeland were trained here. 190 people for military exploits were awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union.

Today, in the open-air parking lot of the museum, powerful strategic bombers, missile carriers, special and auxiliary aircraft that have been in service with the Long-Range Aviation from the second half of the fifties to the present are collected.
