Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and State Secretary of the Union State Dmitry Mezentsev discussed preparations for the meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers to be held on September 10 in Minsk.
“As Presidents Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko noted at today’s meeting, a great deal of work has been done by the governments to deepen integration in the Union State. The main directions for the implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State for 2021–2023 and all 28 Union programs have been agreed, ”Mikhail Mishustin recalled.
According to him, the launch of work on integration programs will make it possible to move forward in the implementation of the Union Treaty, bring trade, economic and investment cooperation to a new level, and improve the welfare of the citizens of Russia and Belarus.
At the upcoming meeting of the Council of Ministers, it is planned to approve a new package of integration documents prepared on behalf of the Presidents of Russia and Belarus, including a draft Decree of the Supreme State Council. After that, the documents will be sent for approval to the heads of the two countries, Mikhail Mishustin said.
