About 1 thousand anti-aircraft gunners of the 2nd Combined Arms Army of the Central Military District, after performing live firing at the Kapustin Yar range in the Astrakhan region, began to march to the points of permanent deployment in the Penza, Samara and Orenburg regions. Over 150 units of military equipment are involved in the march.

As part of the camp gathering, the servicemen fired a number of live fires from the Buk-M2, Tor-M1, Tunguska and Strela-10 anti-aircraft systems, as well as Igla MANPADS at targets simulating enemy aircraft and missiles. Based on the results of practical actions, the anti-aircraft gunners received high marks from the command of the Central Military District.

Subunits march in a combined way as part of several military echelons. The first echelon with Buk-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems will arrive today at the unloading station in the Penza region.
