Large business with various industry specializations is the main customer in the labor market. In the matter of recruiting, such companies are increasingly turning to state employment services. Within the framework of the IV Forum of Social Innovations of the Regions, the employment center “My Job” presented a new technology for mass recruitment of employees – an assessment center.

“We have opened recruitment centers for employers right at our site of the employment center. This is the first practice of launching such an employment format, in which representatives of large organizations will take part. On the one hand, the technology of the assessment center will help optimize the time and cost of finding motivated candidates with completed resumes. On the other hand, it is very convenient for applicants “, – said Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

According to her, applicants will be able to immediately get acquainted with the employer at the site of the employment center, find out all the detailed information about the company and vacancies, pass an interview and receive a job offer. Thus, employment opportunities for Muscovites will expand.

“The Moscow Metro is one of the largest and most reliable employers in the capital. Over the past 10 years, over 20 thousand new jobs have appeared here. By 2025, thanks to the development and expansion of the metro, another 10 thousand will be added. We are always ready to hire new employees for all Moscow transport and are glad to cooperate with the Moscow employment service in recruiting specialists in various fields, “added the Deputy Moscow Mayor in the Moscow Government, head of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Maxim Liksutov

The new technology is being implemented in pilot mode together with the Moscow Metro at the site of the My Work employment center. Since the beginning of August 2021, more than 25 motivated candidates have been screened by the HR specialist of the Moscow metro every day. During the period of the pilot project, about 400 people were interviewed, and 80 percent of them showed a high degree of motivation to find a job and received a referral to positions of interest. The project has already shown its effectiveness in real cases.

Within the framework of the IV Forum of Social Innovations of the Regions, the solemn signing of the Agreement between the Moscow Metro and the employment center “My Work” took place. Today the Moscow metro and Mosgortrans are waiting for candidates for more than 10 thousand new jobs.

The long-term interaction strategy will include the permanent operation of the metro personnel center at the site of the employment center. The assessment center format will provide an opportunity to receive a constant stream of suitable candidates with a desire to work in the declared position.

Muscovites are also helped to find work by the largest state personnel operator in job search – the employment service of the city of Moscow. Its structure includes 57 employment departments, 52 of which are located in the centers of public services “My Documents”. Flagship centers with an extended range of services are located at 38 Schepkina Street, Building 1 and Shabolovka Street, 48.

In addition, a specialized employment center “My Career” for citizens over 50 years old, mothers with children, people with disabilities, youth and low-income families with children is open to Muscovites at the address: Sergiy Radonezhsky Street, Building 1, Building 1.
