A new walking route has appeared on Leninsky Prospekt in the area of houses 94-110. It was created as part of the comprehensive improvement of the outbound highway. Between Leninsky Prospekt and its understudy, there is an area about 600 meters long along the houses, which has been turned into a comfortable walking area. This was reported in the capital’s urban complex.
The promenade smoothly turns into courtyard areas. Three playgrounds were set up there. Local residents, including mothers with children, have a new walking route: after playing on the playgrounds, you can walk along a shady alley, look into a shopping center or cafe, and then, having rest on a comfortable bench, return home.
Local residents, numerous visitors to various institutions, business centers and shopping centers located here, as well as film lovers who have come to the Eldar cinema club, can walk among the trees and relax on the benches. There is also a bicycle path.
All trees along the new route have been preserved. In addition to them, about 700 shrubs of brilliant cotoneaster were planted. This decorative and unpretentious shrub tolerates a haircut well, therefore it is often used to organize hedges.
Opposite house 110, a recreation area of about 1,500 square meters was arranged. Four benches were installed there, made in a modern design, next to them were placed urns.
In early September, the first stage of the large-scale improvement of Leninsky Prospekt was completed. The five-kilometer section from Kravchenko Street to the Moscow Ring Road was put in order, its area is 74.4 hectares.
Work on the second stage will be completed in 2022–2023, and on the third – as the construction of the Big Circle and Troitskaya metro lines is completed.
Life in the southwest of the capital is becoming more comfortable. In the children’s music school named after A.M. Ivanov-Kramskoy carried out repairs, and also purchased over 600 units of new musical instruments, furniture and equipment. In addition, a new festival site was opened, it is located at Teply Stan street, possession 1b (not far from the exits from the metro station of the same name).
Through the territory of the district there will be southwestern and southern sections of the BCL, and in the Teply Stan district will open the Ulitsa Generala Tyuleneva station of the Troitskaya metro line.
