In Kronstadt, on Anchor Square, a solemn ceremony of dedication of 80 fifth-graders to cadets of the Kronstadt Naval Cadet Military Corps took place.

The guys entered the educational institution this year. Training takes place from grade 5 to grade 11. The pupils took an oath of allegiance to the Fatherland and received personal ribbons, which they tied on a peakless cap.

After bringing to the Solemn Promise, the head of the KMKVK Dovbeshko Nikolai Vasilyevich congratulated the students of the new set with the high rank of “Cadet”.

At the ceremony, 80 pupils of the new recruitment received a ribbon on their peakless cap and a badge of belonging to the Kronstadt Naval Cadet Military Corps. Graduates of the KMKVK of the current year and earlier years took part in attaching the ribbons to the cadets’ headdresses.

Among the guests of honor at the event were the assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy for military education, Captain 1st Rank Valery Khankovich, Head of the Administration of the Kronstadt District of St. Petersburg Oleg Dovganyuk, Honorary Cadet of the Kronstadt Naval Cadet Corps, Rear Admiral Alexander Speshilov, Chairman of the Council of Starshines of St. Petersburg Marine Assembly – Chairman of the St. Petersburg Marine Assembly Sergei Iryutin, a graduate of the Corps in 2002, Captain 2nd Rank Mikhail Feldman. The guests sounded the kindest words and congratulations to the young cadets on this memorable event.

At the end of the ceremony, all the cadets marched, and a new set with guests of honor was photographed at the monument to Admiral S.O. Makarov.
