According to him, during the Great Patriotic War, 17 formations and military units, the battle flags of which are being handed over today, passed a glorious battle path, were awarded state awards, and many of them were given honorary titles.
“Our sacred duty is to carefully preserve and enhance the memory of those who brought Victory over fascism. I am confident that military relics will take a worthy place in museums as official symbols that personify the honor, valor and glory of our Motherland and its Armed Forces,” the Deputy Minister said …
He stressed that the decision of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, to return the military historical banners from the vaults of the Central Museum of the RF Armed Forces to the museums of military glory of cities, “will allow people to see the relics covered with glory live.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense will continue to transfer military historical banners to museums of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
