Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed by December 15 to submit proposals for additional funding for the All-Russian competition for the best projects to create a comfortable urban environment for the next three years. The task was assigned to the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Finance. This is stated in the list of instructions of the head of government following the results of working trip to Nizhny Novgorod on August 26.

The All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment is held at the initiative of the President. Participants present projects, the implementation of which not only helps to change the state of urban areas, but also ensures the creation of new jobs, including in small business. The winners receive grants ranging from 35 million to 100 million rubles for the implementation of their projects.

Mikhail Mishustin called this competition a good incentive for changes in the appearance of small towns and historical settlements. At the same time, he made a reservation that many construction companies are faced with rising prices for materials. This is a very sensitive issue for landscaping projects as well. In this regard, the Prime Minister supported the proposal of architects to consider the possibility of increasing the prize fund. This instruction will be worked out as part of the preparation of proposals for additional financing of the competition.

Mikhail Mishustin also set the task of extending the advanced training program for architects and urban planners “Architects.rf” until 2024 inclusive. By October 1, the Ministry of Construction must report on its implementation.

Two more instructions from the Prime Minister concern specific facilities. Thus, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance will have to provide in the draft of a new three-year federal budget for the allocation of funds for the overhaul of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital and the purchase of the necessary equipment for it. We are talking about the amount of about 1.9 billion rubles.

The Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development were instructed to work out the issue of allocating funds from the federal budget for the restoration of the cultural heritage site “House of VM Burmistrova”, where the State Literary Museum named after AM Gorky is located. Museum workers, with whom the Prime Minister talked during his visit to the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum, asked Mikhail Mishustin about this.

The orders will be published.
