On September 11, artists of the Central House of the Russian Army named after M.V. Frunze took part in the ceremony of transferring historical battle flags to the museums of the Far East and North. The solemn event took place on the Cathedral Square of the Main Church of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

“These banners raised thousands of soldiers, sailors and officers of the Red Army and Navy to attack. Their exploits will remain an example of selfless courage, devotion to the Fatherland, mutual assistance and fraternal friendship, serve as a moral guideline for young people, upbringing on high ideals of patriotism, deep respect for the heroic past of our country, ”said Nikolai Pankov, State Secretary – Deputy Defense Minister of the Russian Federation.

Colonel-General Gennady Zhidko, commander of the Eastern Military District, and Rear Admiral Igor Kurochkin, deputy commander of the Northern Fleet for military-political work, also took part in the celebration.

As part of the ceremony, the artists of the Central House of Arts performed patriotic songs and works of authorship dedicated to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
