Work is underway in Pribrezhny passage, on Polina Osipenko street, Dmitrovskoye and Khoroshevskoye highways.
In the north of Moscow, four streets will be tidied up in a house-to-house format. The territory with a total area of almost 45 hectares will be landscaped. Work is underway in Pribrezhny Passage, on Polina Osipenko Street, Dmitrovskoye and Khoroshevskoye Highways.
A full range of road repair works is carried out here. This is milling and laying of asphalt concrete pavement on the roadway and sidewalks with an area of more than 111 thousand square meters, the installation of curbs with a length of over 28.2 thousand meters. Also, workers will lay out 125 thousand square meters of lawn.
“Before the start of work on these territories, there were similar problems. In some parts of the streets, there was a destruction of the roadway, curb stones and pavement coverings, which negatively affected the transport and pedestrian communication of the district. For safe movement along the streets in the evening and at night, it was necessary to reconstruct the outdoor lighting networks, ”said Anton Akulov, Deputy Head of the City Department of Major Repairs.
For the comfort and safety of citizens, 104 new lanterns with energy-saving lamps will appear. In addition, it is planned to install 23 modern bus stop pavilions with wireless communication and chargers for public transport passengers. More than 380 parking spaces will be equipped.
Carrying out these works will create comfortable conditions for the movement of pedestrians, public transport and motorists. For example, it will be more convenient to walk along the Pribrezhny Passage to the Levoberezhny recreation area, and Polina Osipenko Street will become a full-fledged pedestrian zone.
The main work is scheduled to be completed this month.
“Dmitrovskoe shosse is one of the major highways in Moscow, so it is important to create comfortable conditions on it for all road users and to preserve its transit function. Khoroshevskoe shosse is one of the central streets of the district, which is quite in demand by local residents, since it has two metro stations and one station of the Moscow Central Ring, ”added Anton Akulov.
The “from home to home” format is one of the components of the program “My region”… It provides for a comprehensive overhaul of the territory from the facade of the building on one side of the street to the facade of the building on the other side. In this format, the CAO has already improved Butyrskaya Street. The work was carried out on an area of more than nine hectares. The specialists renovated the roadway, tidied the sidewalks, smashed the lawn, installed benches, trash cans and flowerpots.
