The interregional military-historical festival “Far Eastern Outpost”, which has no analogues in the Far East, was held for the third time in Khabarovsk.

Servicemen of the Eastern Military District and members of their families once again became visitors to this event.

The festival took place on the DOSAAF airfield. Its peculiarity was military-historical reconstruction, in which more than 100 members of military-historical clubs from different regions of the country took part.

The territory of the “Far Eastern Outpost” was divided into 14 thematic zones, each of which corresponded to its own hysterical era or theme.

Particular attention was drawn to the battle scenes that unfolded at the expositions: “The Middle Ages”, “The Civil War in the Far East”, “The War in Afghanistan 1979-1989”, as well as analogues of the camps of the “Red Army” and “Kwantung Army”.

In addition, master classes were demonstrated for the guests of the festival, including those on the assembly and disassembly of small arms.
