160 families will move to new apartments.

Residents of the house on Novoshchukinskaya Street began to move to new apartments under the renovation program. This was told by the head Department of Urban Development Policy Sergey Levkin.

“In a new building on Novoshchukinskaya street (house 8), residents of neighboring house 6 began to move,” he said.

A week ago in Shchukin, residents of another house began to move into new apartments, which is located at Aviatsionnaya Street, Building 61, Building 2.

As part of the first stage of the renovation program, until 2024, five houses will be settled in the district, in which 1200 residents live. In total, 42 residential buildings are to be resettled in Shchukin – this is 8.1 thousand people. One building is being reconstructed after residents move into new apartments.

On the territory of the district, four launch sites were selected with an urban planning potential of more than 70 thousand square meters. One new building has already been commissioned, another is being designed, urban planning documentation is being developed for two objects.

The renovation program was approved in 2017. It includes 5175 houses, which are home to about a million Muscovites.
