The new children’s and adult clinic with antenatal clinic in Shcherbinka received the first patients. The medical facility located on Pervomayskaya Street meets all the requirements new Moscow standard.

“A bright modern building with an area of ​​more than 11 thousand square meters, where both adults and children can receive medical care, it is designed for 750 visits per shift – 500 adults and 250 children,” said Elena Lisitsina, chief physician of the Shcherbinsky city hospital.

The building for adults and children will have a radiation diagnostics department equipped with a magnetic resonance imaging scanner. In addition, the department has a digital fluorograph, an X-ray unit and a mammograph. For ultrasound diagnostics, five new modern expert-class ultrasound machines were purchased. The first endoscopy department will also open in Shcherbinka.

The children’s clinic is located in the right wing of the new building, and the adult clinic is in the left wing; separate entrances have been equipped for them.

Pediatricians and specialized specialists, such as an ophthalmologist, otorhinolaryngologist, surgeon, neurologist, cardiologist, endocrinologist, and gastroenterologist, will be admitted to the children’s clinic. The polyclinic has a department for a healthy child, a massage room, a blood sampling room, a room for feeding and weighing infants, and pre-hospital and vaccination rooms.

All related services and offices are located nearby, so you don’t have to look for the right specialist for a long time. In addition, a well-thought-out comfortable layout allows avoiding contact between sick and healthy children.

Also in the children’s section of the polyclinic there is a procedure room, a physiotherapy department with inhalation therapy and electric light therapy rooms is preparing for the start of admission.

In the adult department, therapists and narrow specialists will receive appointments: there are offices of a surgeon, otorhinolaryngologist, ophthalmologist, urologist, infectious disease specialist, as well as a women’s consultation.

The new polyclinic provided for patients with a physiotherapy room, a massage room, an inhalation therapy room, an office for the prevention of heart attacks and strokes for patients at risk, and a functional diagnostics department.

In the central part of the building there is a department of radiation diagnostics, which serves both an adult and a children’s clinic. In addition, there are day hospitals for adults and young patients.

Waiting areas with air conditioners, coolers, TVs, soft sofas were created for visitors on each floor; special play areas were equipped for children.
