More than 1.4 thousand emergency teams have been trained in the city to respond promptly to emergency situations in the coming heating season.

Reserve stocks of fuel and capacities of resource supplying companies have been created in Moscow. The required volume was increased in preparation for the winter.

“At present, all city resource supply systems have the necessary capacity reserve,” said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Utilities and Improvement

The capital’s heat reserve is 48 percent, gas supply – 23 percent, water supply – 53 percent, electricity networks – 19 percent, and water disposal – 41 percent.

“In preparation for the autumn-winter season, the city has created fuel reserves – 365 thousand tons of coal, 378 thousand tons of fuel oil and 24.9 thousand tons of diesel fuel,” stressed Pyotr Biryukov.

More than 1.4 thousand emergency teams have been trained to organize uninterrupted supply of resources to consumers and prompt response to emergency situations. All of them are equipped with specialized equipment, emergency sources of electricity and heat supply.

In Moscow began heating season… All buildings and structures of the capital were prepared for it – in total, about 74 thousand objects.
