The Bal battalion of the coastal anti-ship missile system (BKRK) from the missile formation of the Troops and Forces in the North-East of Russia carried out electronic launches at the ships of the mock enemy in the Pacific Ocean as part of a tactical exercise.

The combat training exercise was the end of the exercise of the BKRK “Ball” battalion, conducted in accordance with the fleet’s combat training plan.

In the course of the final element of the exercise, the missilemen found surface targets from the starting positions, took them for escort, carried out identification and conditionally hit them at the maximum distance with X-35 missiles.

The role of a mock enemy was played by the small missile ship “Smerch” from the formation of ships protecting the water area, the crew of which maneuvered at high speeds with active and passive jamming at a distance from the coastline from 10 to 100 nautical miles.

In total, more than 150 servicemen and about 20 units of military equipment were involved in the tactical exercise.
