Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has registered to participate in electronic voting in the elections of deputies to the State Duma of the VIII convocation, which will be held in Russia from 17 to 19 September.

The possibility of remote voting is enshrined in the federal law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation” dated May 23, 2020.

To vote remotely, it is enough to have a computer or mobile phone with Internet access at hand. In this case, it is not required to come to the polling station.

In the elections in September 2021, voters from seven regions of Russia have the opportunity to vote electronically: Moscow, Sevastopol, as well as Kursk, Murmansk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov and Yaroslavl regions.

You can submit an application on the unified portal of state services in the user’s personal account (in Moscow, also on the portal) until 24:00 (Moscow time) on September 13.

Remote voting will take place from 08:00 on September 17 to 20:00 on September 19 (Moscow time) on the voting portal
