The exhibition has become a notable event in the cultural life of Tatarstan. The exposition of Sergei Shoigu’s works was supplemented by educational activities for adults and children. For 23 days, 46 events took place at the exhibition site, including 10 lectures by famous ethnographers, geographers, art historians and anthropologists, 6 painting master classes, 8 interactive excursions, 21 reading of Tuvan fairy tales, an exhibition of children’s drawings “Tuvan fairy tales under the tree of the world” …

In May of this year, the Russian Geographical Society, together with the Khabensky Foundation, organized a charity auction, for which Sergei Shoigu donated his works.

According to the results, 40 million rubles were raised, thanks to which, according to Konstantin Khabensky, already 23 children received assistance in expensive treatment and rehabilitation.

Some of the more than 100 works of authorship presented by the Minister of Defense in Kazan will also be put up for auction in the future, so that the proceeds can be used to save seriously ill children.
