Units of the reconnaissance unit of the army corps of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) completed a special tactical exercise at a training ground in the Republic of Crimea and returned to the point of permanent deployment.

At the initial stage of combat training, the servicemen arrived in the designated area, conducted reconnaissance of possible routes for the advancement of sabotage groups of the conditional enemy and the areas of their deployment. Further, the scouts worked out the search for the base of the conditional enemy and their destruction.

During the exercise, the servicemen performed tasks as part of reconnaissance patrols using modern digital communications and navigation “Groot-M” and reconnaissance complexes “Strelets”, and methods were also worked out to disable enemy communications.

During the exercise, the greatest attention was paid to various methods of command and control of units, including the use of radio stations R-187P1 “Azart” and command and staff vehicles of the communications unit.

The exercise involved about 300 servicemen and about 100 units of military equipment, including armored vehicles “Lynx”, “Tiger” and “Typhoon”.
