More than 260 families will move to new buildings.

In Tsaritsyn, by the end of the year, residents of three five-story buildings on Kavkazsky Boulevard and Kantemirovskaya Street will begin to move, said the head Department of Urban Development Policy of Moscow Sergey Levkin

“More than 260 families living in five-storey buildings at the addresses: Kavkazsky Boulevard, house 40, building 2, building 42, building 2 and Kantemirovskaya street, building 41, will be able to start moving before the end of the year. Two new buildings have already been put into operation under the renovation program at the addresses: Kavkazsky Boulevard, 40 and Kantemirovskaya Street, 39a, “said Sergei Levkin.

He added that the houses to be settled and new residential buildings are within walking distance from each other.

In Tsaritsyn, according to the renovation program, 141 houses are to be relocated and demolished, 36 thousand people live in them. To organize the wave resettlement, 15 launch sites with an urban development potential of more than 230 thousand square meters were selected in the district: one house was commissioned and handed over for settlement, construction and installation work is underway at five objects, nine are being designed.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017, about a million Muscovites will receive comfortable housing with improved finishes. In total, it is planned to resettle 5175 houses, 513 launch sites have already been selected.
