Servicemen and members of their families of the united Russian military base in Kyrgyzstan took part in commemorative events dedicated to the day of the transfer from Vladimir to St. Petersburg of the relics of the holy right-believing Prince Alexander Nevsky – the defender of Russia and the patron saint of soldiers.

Bishop Daniel of Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan and Priest Alexander Anashkin, assistant commander of the unit for work with religious servicemen, also took part in the solemn events.
