This week Moscow parks, museums and libraries will help you to have fun and useful time with your family.

A varied cultural program for the week for Muscovites was prepared by the facilities of the Moscow Department of Culture. Read the article to see your favorite films, take a film trip around the country, and listen to your favorite composer.

Film trips to Zaryadye and cinema on a submarine

We begin the film week with a virtual film tour of Russia in Zaryadye Park. Viewers of the film “Russia. Virtual Journey “will see nine amazingly beautiful places: the Kola Peninsula, Crimea, the Volga delta, Lake Baikal, the Far Eastern Marine Reserve, Kamchatka, the Putorana Plateau, the Kandalaksha Reserve and the Caucasus. However, this is not the only film trip that you can take in Zaryadye Park. A bird’s eye view of the most beautiful places of the country will allow the film “Flight over Russia”. Spectators will fly over the Valley of Geysers in Kamchatka and Man-Pupuner in the Komi Republic, over the Swallow’s Nest castle in the Crimea, or a colorful fireworks display over the Ostankino television tower, over the Moscow Kremlin and Tverskaya Street. Thanks to the special effects during the “flight”, you can also make a “jump” from the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station dam, feel the wind gusts, see lightning flashes and much more. The film presents 19 natural and architectural sights of Russia, some of which are included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Northern Tushino Museum and Park Complex offers its guests an unforgettable evening watching an Oscar-winning painting inside a submarine. On September 16 at 18:30 there will be a screening of the melodrama “Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears” directed by Vladimir Menshov, starring Vera Alentova, Irina Muravyova, Raisa Ryazanova and Alexei Batalov. The film, beloved by many Russian viewers, will take place not in an ordinary cinema, but on board the B-396 Novosibirsk Komsomolets submarine in the Severnoye Tushino park. At the Gogol House on September 17, cinema lovers will get acquainted with the film of the legendary Soviet film director Alexander Rowe “Kashchei the Immortal” with Sergei Stolyarov and Georgy Millyar in the lead roles. During the cinema lecture, guests will learn about the history of the creation and the symbolic meaning of the legendary film. Organ and classical music

You can start with the concert “Magic sound of flutes” in the Memorial Museum of A.N. Scriabin. On September 15 at 19:00, you can hear works for flute and piano. The concert program allows you to see the sequence of development of musical styles from early romanticism to classical music of the twentieth century. Also in the Memorial Museum of A.N. Scriabin will host the first concert of the cycle “All Sonatas for Piano by Ludwig van Beethoven”. The Kuskovo Museum-Estate and the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve invite lovers of organ music to their concerts. On September 18, within the framework of the closing of the XI festival “Organ Evenings in Kuskovo”, the estate will host a concert – presentation of the disc by the artistic director of the festival organist Elena Privalova “I.S. Bach. All organ toccata ”. These are grandiose compositions that are included in the treasury of the organ repertoire. In her speech, Elena Privalova will perform all five toccatas with fugues, and will also talk about how the toccatas performed by her were recorded at the Riga Dome Cathedral. On September 18, in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, within the framework of the Organ Concerts cycle, the Organ and Violin concert will take place. Dmitry German (violin) and Fyodor Stroganov (organ) will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Hans-Andre Stamm, Tomaso Antonio Vitali, Fyodor Stroganov and Astor Piazzolla.
