The All-Russian Ecological Action “Green Russia” is being held throughout the country from September 4 to 25. To support the ideas of not only saving nature, but also ecological and patriotic education, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia take part in subbotniks. Every year, the tradition of cleaning parks and public places brings together more and more caring people.

In Ulyanovsk, fire fighters from the FPS of the State Border Guard Service cleaned the bank of the Volga on the descent of Stepan Razin from debris, the coastline along the Druzhby Narodov park and in the Rose of the Winds park. EMERCOM employees collected dry leaves, branches and debris.

In Bryansk, employees of the department set an example of a caring and respectful attitude towards nature, having carried out work on the improvement of the territory of the park of the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Bryansk region.

During the subbotnik, the banks adjacent to the Sakmara River in the Orenburg region were cleared of debris. The activists expressed the hope that the event will make people think about the ecology of those who throw garbage in places of mass presence of people.

Fire fighters from the Chelyabinsk region regularly take part in the environmental action. The number of trees planted by their hands over the years is difficult to calculate. This year, employees of the department, together with representatives of other law enforcement agencies, planted a pine grove.

Seedlings of deciduous trees were planted by the firefighting and rescue team in Novokuznetsk, and in the capital of the region, Kemerovo, employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass cleaned the coastal area along the Tom River.

In the eastern district of the capital, together with the firemen of the specialized fire department for extinguishing large fires, the head of the capital’s central board Sergei Zheltov planted birches on the Alley of memory named after Hero of Russia Yevgeny Chernyshev.

In addition, it was possible to draw the attention of residents to the environmental campaign with an exhibition of fire fighting equipment and equipment, where everyone was also fed traditional field porridge.
