Also, EW specialists collected and analyzed intelligence information based on the reception of electromagnetic radiation in the HF, VHF ranges and, by means of radio jamming, violated the communication system of field aircraft controllers and the guidance of high-precision guided missile weapons of a simulated enemy.

An analysis of the results of practical actions showed the high efficiency of the electronic warfare equipment of the Baltic Fleet, as well as the readiness of the subunit personnel to use it. More than 100 servicemen and over 20 units of military and special equipment were involved in the combat training event.

The joint strategic exercise (SSU) of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus is held every two years in accordance with the decision made by the heads of the two states.

The maximum number of personnel of military units involved in training, subject to the Vienna Document 2011, on the territory of the Russian Federation does not exceed 6400 military personnel.

The return of military command and control bodies and troops to their permanent deployment points after participation in the exercise is planned until mid-October of this year.
