The event was attended by representatives of the administration and rural municipalities, as well as social institutions of the Shipunovsky district. Accompanied by the Deputy Head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Altai Territory, Colonel of the Internal Service Irina Belova, they got acquainted with the products presented at the exhibition and visited the garment production of the colony.

The exhibition showed samples of garment, footwear, souvenir, wood and metalworking products produced by correctional institutions of the Altai Territory. The products of agricultural processing and food industry – vegetable and butter, wheat and rye flour, cereals, semi-finished meat products, biscuits – aroused great interest.

During a visit to the sewing section of IK-6, the guests were told that in the institution, convicts have the opportunity to receive education on the basis of vocational school No. 274 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. The work of convicts is paid. This allows them to pay off existing claims. And getting a working profession increases the chance of getting a job after release.

At a working meeting that took place after visiting the exhibition and devoted to increasing the volume of orders, the deputy head of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Irina Belova, noted the advantages of concluding state and municipal contracts with institutions of the penal system as with the only supplier.

During the meeting, many heads of municipal institutions of the district noted that they already had experience of cooperation with institutions of the Penitentiary System of the Territory and intend to continue partnership relations.
