In the Cosmonautics Museum of the V.I. G.S. Titov announced the results of the V open competition “Silver Wings-2021”. It is held among military cultural institutions and clubs of military units of the Aerospace Forces and the civilian sector. The organizer of the competition is the Central Officers’ Club of the Aerospace Forces of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. The main goal of the project is to study and generalize best practices, increase the level of methodological support.
The competition was held in the following nominations: “The best scenario of a cultural and leisure event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the first flight into space by Yu.A. Gagarin “; “Best Methodological Work”; “The best video about a cultural and leisure event”; “The best work in organizing cultural patronage over military personnel and their family members.” There was also a nomination dedicated to Youth Army – “The best scenario of a cultural and leisure event with the participation of the movement.” Here the representatives of the movement themselves became the best. The staff of the Department of Methodological Support of the Youth Army represented by Alexander Alyokhin, Syrgylana Zakharova and Oksana Akhpolova were awarded the prize.
All works were evaluated by an expert jury, which included Svetlana Ishmuratova, two-time Olympic champion, deputy chief of the FAU of the RF Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation CSKA for military-political work; Vasily Dmitrichenko, leading methodologist of the methodological department of the Central House of Arts; Irina Pavlyutkina, a correspondent for the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation; author of the patriotic action “Roads of Glory – Our History”, “Candle of Memory” Asya Kompaniets and others. They worked under the command of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces for military-political work, Major General Alexander Maksimtsev.
This year, the Silver Wings expanded their geography and increased the number of participants. Almost fifty authors from 18 regions of Russia submitted their works to the competition. The Youth Army made its debut with the All-Russian action “Space Postcard” dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the first man’s flight into space.
All-Russian youth military-patriotic movement “Yunarmiya” was created in 2016 at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense and with the support of the President of Russia. Now there are more than 850 thousand participants in its ranks. The main task of the movement is patriotic education, as well as the physical, intellectual and social development of young people.
