Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak held a regular meeting on the development of models of economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that are part of the North Caucasian Federal District. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov, as well as representatives of the Center for Strategic Research Foundation and the Federal Resource Center.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister considered the methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Economic Development on the development of models of economic development of the regions of the North Caucasus, in particular the principles of their formation. Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was instructed to draw up guidelines for the development of models of economic development of the regions of the North Caucasus, to form development models. Within the framework of such models, the current economic situation of each individual region is assessed and an analysis of the structure of the economy, demographic situation, as well as employment, including the shadow one, is carried out.
“These strategic documents are very important for ensuring high-quality systemic changes, necessary and aimed primarily at the population of the regions, as well as at the development of industries and the economy as a whole. A set of individual events and facilities will also be formed, aimed at developing regions and unlocking their potential for socio-economic growth, ”stressed Alexander Novak during the meeting.
