Commander of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet), Admiral Sergei Avakyants, spoke to young lieutenants-graduates of the Russian Defense Ministry’s universities in the House of Fleet Officers as part of an organizational meeting.

Training and methodological camps are held from 13 to 17 September with all lieutenants assigned to the Pacific Fleet after graduating from higher military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in 2021.

The commander of the Pacific Fleet during his speech paid great attention to the issues of housing, financial and medical support for young officers.

Also, Admiral Sergey Avakyants pointed to the implementation of the plans for the activities of the Pacific Fleet forces for 2022 and active participation in all events of the graduate lieutenants. In the near future, they need to pass off tests for admission to independent management of their units in a timely manner.

The commander of the Pacific Fleet concluded his speech with words about the role of young officers in preserving naval traditions for future generations and improving their professional qualities along with the acquisition of new skills during service in officer’s uniform.

As part of the lecture, the deputy commander of the Pacific Fleet for financial and economic work Colonel Pavel Andreevsky, the interim deputy commander of the Pacific Fleet for military-political work, Captain 1st Rank Sergei Korenevich, Head of the Combat Training Department of the Pacific Fleet Captain 1st Rank Sergei Sinko and Deputy Chief TO “Primorskiy” of the branch “Vostochny” FSAU “Roszhilkompleks” Nikolay Sinitsyn.

The lecture was attended by videoconference by young lieutenants who were assigned to ships and military units of the Troops and Forces in the North-East of Russia.
