From 15 to 21 September in Moscow, at two sites – the Irina Viner-Usmanova Gymnastics Palace and the CSKA Athletics and Football Complex – the 2021 World Climbing Championship will be held. 12 athletes from the Army’s Central Sports Club will take part in the competition.

In total, 302 climbers from 41 countries will compete for the medals of the Moscow climbing world championship. Including the hosts of the competition – 27 athletes who are part of the team of the Russian Climbing Federation.

The team included 12 representatives of the Central Sports Club of the Army – Ensign Sergei Luzhetsky, Yulia Kaplina, Victoria Meshkova, Sergeant Elena Krasovskaya, Alexey Rubtsov, Sergeant Nikolai Yarilovets, Ekaterina Kipriyanova, Alexander Shikov, Ekaterina Barashchuk, Olesya Prosekova and Private Elizaveta Ivanova.

Two CSKA athletes will compete in two disciplines at once – in difficulty climbing and bouldering – Elena Krasovskaya and Victoria Meshkova.
