A track for radio-controlled cars will appear in Otradnoye – it will be located in the floodplain of the Chermyanka River, on the section from Dezhnev Passage to Molodtsova Street, the press service of the Moscow city economy complex reported.

The track will be built as part of the creation of the Yauza park, it will be formed from compacted soil with small heights for jumping. It will operate all year round, its length will be more than 150 meters, and the area is 690 square meters.

The race track is designed for competitions. Copies of real cars will participate in them, mainly electric models, controlled from a distance using a special remote control. A grandstand with a canopy will be built for the pilots; up to six people will be able to sit on it at the same time.

Lighting poles, benches and ballot boxes, as well as tables for equipment repair will be installed along the perimeter of the track.

A sports cluster will appear in the Yauza park

In 2016–2020, five areas of the future Yauza park with a total area of ​​135 hectares were put in order. This year, two sections of the floodplain of the Chermyanka River, a tributary of the Yauza, are being improved – from Mussorgsky Street to Dezhnev Pass and from Dezhnev Pass to Molodtsov Street. In 2022, it is planned to improve two more territories near the Yauza River – along Severodvinskaya Street and from Shirokaya Street to Yeniseiskaya Street.
