In Tajikistan, the chief of staff of the Central Military District (CVD), Lieutenant General Mikhail Teplinsky presented a certificate to the order of the deceased veteran of the Great Patriotic War Alidmzhan Yuldashev to his grandson.

In a solemn atmosphere, Murod Nabiev received a certificate for the Order of the Red Banner on the parade ground of the 201st Russian military base from the hands of the Hero of the Russian Federation Mikhail Teplinsky. The chief of staff of the Central Military District warmly thanked his grandson for the feat of the Tajik pilot, wishing his family and friends good health and a peaceful sky overhead.

A participant in the Great Patriotic War, pilot of the 53rd Long-Range Aviation Division, Alidmzhan Halievich Yuldashev, born in 1912, performed his feat on November 9, 1942 in the skies over Stalingrad and was posthumously nominated for an award by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated December 31, 1942.

Also, Colonel Sergei Goryachev, the commander of the Russian military base in Tajikistan, was awarded the Suvorov medal for merits in strengthening the country’s defense capability and high personal performance in service.

Roman Chebonenko, assistant commander for work with religious servicemen, was awarded a medal “For services in perpetuating the memory of the fallen defenders of the Fatherland.”
