A large-scale salvo from all guns ended the field exit of missile forces and artillery in the Amur combined-arms formation of the Eastern Military District (VVO).

Within a month, training sessions were held at training grounds located in the Amur Region, the Jewish Autonomy and the Khabarovsk Territory with servicemen included in the calculations of the Akatsiya, MSTA-S self-propelled artillery mounts, Grad and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) “. In the course of training in the field, the gunners improved their skills in solving individual combat firing tasks from firing positions of varying degrees of complexity, including under limited time conditions and with the use of various types of ammunition.

When working out training tasks, special attention was paid to the joint actions of artillerymen with reconnaissance units and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crews. Measures were worked out for transmitting intelligence information from the intelligence, control and communications complex of the KRUS “Strelets” with relaying information through the UAV to the command posts of the artillery. This method of working out fire missions has shown its high efficiency and made it possible to significantly reduce the time for detecting targets, pointing guns at them, and also more accurately performing their defeat. All training tasks worked out during the field trip were planned taking into account the experience gained during military conflicts, as well as in the Syrian Arab Republic.

At the field exit, the artillerymen completed more than 1.5 thousand tasks and standards for the deployment and occupation of firing positions, their engineering equipment and camouflage, target detection and solution of tasks for their fire destruction. During the exercise, more than 1,000 targets were hit and about 80 tons of various ammunition were expended.

At the end of the field exit, missile and artillery units will make marches as part of convoys of equipment to the points of permanent deployment.

About 2,000 servicemen and 600 pieces of equipment for various purposes were involved in the exercise.
