The winners of the grant competition will receive from 500 thousand to five million rubles for social projects.
For 20 years, Moscow has hosted a competition for grants for non-profit organizations (NPOs) that can be used to implement social projects. During this time, the city has supported more than 2.5 thousand NGOs, said Sergei Sobyanin in my blog.
“Moscow is the capital of charity and good deeds. More than 30 thousand non-profit organizations work in our city, and every fourth Muscovite has experience of regular participation in charitable and volunteer activities. When a social project expands to a serious scale, its authors have an acute question of finding funds. And then the city authorities can become one of the sponsors, ”the Moscow Mayor noted.
According to the Mayor of Moscow, the results of another competition were recently summed up – 799 NGOs participated in it. 172 projects won – their full list has been published on the site…
“Organizations with more than one year of experience can apply for a grant of up to five million rubles. Recently created organizations can count on support in the amount of up to 500 thousand, ”said Sergei Sobyanin.
The most popular direction of the competition this year was youth – 50 projects took part in it. Among the winners is the project “The Future is Today!” center “Team”. It is dedicated to the development of the design skills and technical thinking of schoolchildren.
“The project“ Territory of Generations ”, which won in the nomination“ Civic Initiatives ”, is devoted to the eternal questions of the relationship between fathers and children. At the expense of the grant, the Mentors of Russia movement organizes a series of seminars and master classes in schools. Teachers, psychologists, students will share their experience and help teenagers to better understand themselves and those around them, ”wrote the Mayor of Moscow.
The Megasfera children’s football training center won in the “Healthy Lifestyle and Sports” nomination. He organized the project “Football as a point of contact between the interests of children and their parents.” Another winner – the center of physical culture and sports “Unica” – plans to organize training on paddleboards (rowing on boards) on a closed reservoir in the Stroginskaya floodplain. Anyone from 10 to 50 years old will be able to participate in them.
“Among the winning projects there are both newcomers and those who have already received a grant from the Mayor,” added Sergei Sobyanin.
For example, the initiators of the “Mom’s Window” project last year began to collect food for mothers with many children and pregnant women in difficult life situations. This year the scale of the charitable program will significantly expand.
Every citizen of the city can support the work of social NGOs today. To do this, mos.ru has created charity service… To make a donation, you need to log in to the mos.ru portal, select the program you are interested in in the funds section, then indicate the amount of the donation and click the “Help” button. Citizens can donate and help sick children, veterans, people with disabilities or animals.
