In accordance with the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, the autumn stage of the Spartakiad of the Navy started in Vladivostok, within the framework of which competitions in rowing and sailing sports will be held.

More than 100 servicemen from 14 national teams of the Northern, Pacific, Black Sea, Baltic fleets, the Caspian Flotilla and naval educational institutions will compete in rowing, rowing and sailing, sailing and long-distance sports during 10 competitive days.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako and the assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy for physical training, Captain 1st Rank Alexei Pivachev. In his welcoming speech on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, Captain 1st Rank Alexei Pivachev wished all participants in the competition victory in an honest and uncompromising struggle, successful fulfillment of standards and achievement of sports titles in military-applied disciplines.

After the completion of the first two types of the Spartakiad program (rowing on boats at a distance of 1000 m and 2000 m with a turn), the team of the Black Sea Higher Naval School named after P.S. Nakhimov, having outstripped in the final races the traditional rival – the team of the Military Educational and Scientific Center of the Navy “Naval Academy named after Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union N.G. Kuznetsov “.
