Read the article on whether street painting can be art and how to make it an integral part of the urban environment.

In 2020, the Moscow Production Center launched the All-Russian art project Art Inside. Its goal is to enable young street artists to apply their talents to various urban venues. There are no geographic restrictions – anyone can become a participant. The main requirement is the author’s handwriting and quality of execution. Read about how to turn an ordinary room into an exhibition space in this article.

It is not difficult to become a member of the project. You need to apply for the official website of the Moscow Production Centerby filling out the form and attaching a portfolio. Those who have passed the selection are allocated an urban object for creativity, they are provided with all the necessary art materials, and media promotion is also organized – these are publications in specialized media and social networks, a photo session, professional filming of a video about the artist, the opportunity to participate in various urban art events.

Art starts with sincerity

Anastasia Malinovskaya is a monumental artist. The task of her work is not to literally show what a person or place looks like, but to convey feelings and sensations. The artist can use both traditional materials and digital space.

At the Art Russia 2021 contemporary art fair, Anastasia, in collaboration with other artists, created a stand dedicated to the topic of cognition. Its main symbol is an open book of meanings, thoughts and ideas.

“We, as artists, tried to depict each in its own style a kind of explosion that precedes the beginning of thought, which allows us to create new forms of art based on the experience and knowledge gained,” explains Anastasia Malinovskaya.

According to the artist, participation in the project helped her understand her strengths and weaknesses, determine the further vector of creative development and more specifically formulate new goals.

Our mission is to popularize street art

Ekaterina AnomalitKate creates in the digital art genre (when a work of art is realized in digital form). The main theme of her works is the alternative future of humanity, and the main goal is to show through artistic forms that freedom of thought and lack of framework are the key to success in life.

One of these representatives is the graffiti artist and muralist Alexander Militsin, who heads the Desarte365 association, which also became a resident of Art Within. The guys’ portfolio includes participation in such large projects as the Pages of History graffiti festival in Veliky Novgorod, paintings for the Tavrida art cluster, many completed projects throughout the country, including Moscow.

Alexander and his comrades see their mission in popularizing street art wherever possible. And the main motivation is to fill the urban space with art. Indeed, in their opinion, the more bright colors there will be in the capital, the better.
