The task of city social services is to help a person perform those everyday activities that he cannot do on his own due to age or illness.
An important part of social services at home is functional diagnostics. The social inspector determines whether the ward himself can prepare food, take it, perform hygiene procedures, make purchases, keep the house clean and more. Thanks to functional diagnostics and a number of other procedures, a decision is made on which services from the social set should be provided to a Muscovite in order to solve his everyday problems and maintain his usual way of life.
You can get social services at home by contacting the nearest center of public services “My Documents”. Today the list of required documents has been reduced as much as possible. For example, single Muscovites will be asked to fill out an application and provide a passport. Those who live in a family or have immediate family members will additionally have to provide documents confirming the income of family members and the circumstances in which they cannot fulfill their care responsibilities.
