Road repairs have been completed on Volgogradsky Prospekt. During the work, the asphalt concrete pavement with a total area of ​​300 thousand square meters was renewed on two sections of Volgogradsky Prospekt in both directions of movement: from the Krestyansky Square to the Avilon Plaza business center and from the Tekstilshchiki metro station to the Moscow Ring Road.

More than 600 specialists and over 300 pieces of equipment were involved in the repair. It passed with a partial restriction of movement.

The workers milled the asphalt, repaired inspection wells and storm grates, then laid a new asphalt concrete pavement and applied the markings.

On the section from the Third Transport Ring to Lyublinskaya Street, thanks to the elimination of the reverse lane and the optimization of the width of the lanes for traffic, their number has increased to four in each direction.

Since the beginning of this year, the city has completed the construction of 65.2 kilometers of roads, 23 artificial structures and 17 pedestrian crossings. In total, in 2022–2023, it is planned to build 188 kilometers of roads, 70 artificial structures and 37 pedestrian crossings. The key project for the coming years is the construction of new chord highways – the North-East Expressway, the South-East Expressway and the South Road, as well as the formation of the transport frame of the TyNAO.
