At the Center for Combat Use and Retraining of Flight Personnel of the Naval Aviation of the Russian Navy in Yeisk, another cycle of specialist training has begun. In total, in the 2021-2022 academic year, about 300 military personnel from the naval aviation units of the Northern, Pacific, Black Sea, Baltic Fleets and the Caspian Flotilla will be trained in 18 training groups of the Central Officer Courses.

The center conducts training under additional professional education programs in the main areas of training – advanced training of the leadership of units and subdivisions of naval aviation, training of the command personnel of aircraft-carrying ships, retraining of flight personnel by types of aircraft and engineering and technical training.

At the central officer courses of the Center for Combat Use and Retraining of Flight Personnel of the Naval Aviation of the Navy, training is organized in more than 130 advanced training programs and retraining for more than 15 types of aircraft and their modifications. The center is equipped with simulators for practical training of flight personnel on procedural and complex simulators of aviation equipment of naval aviation, as well as for training persons of the flight management group.

The Center for Combat Use and Retraining of Flight Personnel of the Naval Aviation of the Navy in Yeisk occupies an important place among the structural divisions of the Russian Navy. This is a unified educational organization of naval aviation of the Navy, which provides comprehensive training for flight personnel of all branches of naval aviation (anti-submarine, naval assault, naval fighter, naval special and transport), specialists of the flight management group, engineering and technical personnel and junior specialists. During the existence of the Center (in the period from 2009 to 2021), more than 2300 students were trained in programs of additional professional education.
