A pavilion for a year-round fair was built in the southeast of Moscow on Saranskaya Street. He appeared on the territory that was previously occupied by illegal parking. The creation of a fair on this site was supported by the residents of the district through voting in the “Active Citizen” project. This was told by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.
“Since the beginning of the year, more than 130 illegal non-capital objects have been identified in the southeast of the capital, today 33 of them have already been dismantled. As unauthorized buildings are revealed, the occupied territories are returned to the city, which become available for further improvement. This takes into account the opinion of the Muscovites themselves. It was at the request of residents that a city fair appeared on the site of an illegal parking lot in Vykhino-Zhulebino, ”he said.
Illegal parking on Saranskaya Street was discovered by experts from the State Inspectorate for Real Estate. According to the head of the department, Vladislav Ovchinsky, the area of 1800 square meters was fenced off with a metal fence and was used for parking without registration of land legal relations.
“Rows of awnings and a guard post were erected in the closed area. As a result, illegal structures and facilities were dismantled, ”he stressed.
The prefect of the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, Andrei Tsybin, specified that for local residents they not only made a pavilion, but also improved the area around it. Now Muscovites will be able to buy fresh vegetables, fruits, dairy products, meat and other domestically produced goods here.
Year-round fairs open throughout the capital. This is a comfortable place of trade for both manufacturers themselves and Muscovites. In Moscow there are already 47 such fairs.
