Such a large-scale launch is planned for the first time in the history of the Moscow subway.

In Moscow, for the first time, it is planned to simultaneously launch 10 metro stations at once. About it Sergei Sobyanintold in an interview to the TV channel “Russia 1”. We are talking about three sections of the Big Circle Line (BCL) – western, south-western and southern.

“Our task this year is to launch the second third of the huge ring consisting of three sections: western, south-western and southern. The complex is huge – it is 20 kilometers, 10 stations. If we simultaneously – and we plan to launch it at the same time – this will be the largest launch for passengers. At the same time, 10 stations in Moscow have not been launched yet, ”noted Sergei Sobyanin.

Today, a third of the Big Circle Line is already operating and serving passengers. Technical launches that are now produced, allow the metro to prepare for future full-fledged work and run a new line.

The construction of the Big Circle Line is the world’s largest metro construction project. The length of the BCL will be 70 kilometers, the new line will house 31 stations, 12 of which are already open for passengers. For comparison: the length of the existing Koltsevaya line of the Moscow metro is 19.4 kilometers, there are 12 stations on it, which is 3.5 times less.

From the stations of the Big Circle Line, it will be possible to make transfers to 20 stations of 11 metro lines, four – at the station of the Moscow Central Ring (MCC), six – at MCD -1 “Belorussko-Savelovsky” (Odintsovo – Lobnya) and MCD-2 “Kursk- Rizhsky ”(Nakhabino – Podolsk), as well as 11 transfers on the railway line. The largest transport hubs of the Big Circle Line will be Delovoy Tsentr, Savelovskaya, Nizhegorodskaya, Novatorskaya and a number of others.

A large circular line will connect many areas. In some directions, travel time will be reduced by two or three times.
