Nikolai Boyko, Chairman of the Professional Union of Civilian Personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, met with the activists of the primary organization of the Academy of the General Staff on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the creation of the Trade Union.

“Members of the Trade Union are people with an active life position, professionals, skillful organizers and innovators of creative affairs, who work for the benefit of their team free of charge,” said Nikolai Boyko. – Thanks to civilian specialists, their active participation in army and naval events, many of the tasks in the field of strengthening the defense capability of our state are being effectively solved.

The Chairman of the Trade Union noted the work of the university trade union committee to strengthen social partnership and military-patriotic education of youth.

The first founding congress of the Trade Union took place on September 19, 1990 in Moscow. It was attended by delegates from the Far Eastern, Leningrad, Moscow, Trans-Baikal, Transcaucasian, Kiev, Odessa, Volga-Ural, Siberian and Turkestan military districts. From that day on, the Trade Union has stood guard over the labor rights and social guarantees of civilian personnel.
