Muscovites are waiting for about 100 sites – cultural centers, galleries, creative workshops.

From 23 to 25 September, the capital will host the traditional educational action “Day without turnstiles”. It gives you the opportunity to visit large city enterprises and small workshops of professionals in their field, technoparks, offices of technology companies and modern educational centers with an excursion.

This time the action is dedicated to the creative industries, noted Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

“The September action“ Day without turnstiles ”covers about 100 creative sites in the city. Participants will get acquainted with the tools and features of different creative professions. Film studios, cultural centers, galleries, art spaces and workshops are invited to take part in the excursion, ”said Natalya Sergunina.

All events will be held in person in compliance with the current sanitary and epidemiological measures. To visit the sites you need pre-registration.

On a tour of Soyuzmultfilm, children and their parents will see the studio’s Golden Collection, they will have the opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of the world of animation, look at their favorite characters and learn the secrets of creating cartoons.

At the Bulgakov House Museum-Theater, the guide will lead the guests through secret rooms. In addition, they will be able to call real telephones from the beginning of the 20th century, meet the Behemoth Cat and drink a glass of Bulgakov-style tea in the 302-bis buffet.

Employees of the film company “Sergei Eisenstein Street” will talk about the stages and subtleties of filmmaking. Visitors will observe the activities of the actors and the filming process of the film “Brother-3”, and then ask questions of interest.

The Moscow Cultural Folklore Center under the leadership of Lyudmila Ryumina invites you to find out interesting details about the life of the theater, inspect the dressing rooms and the dressing room, visit a recording studio or drop in to a rehearsal of a play.

Young participants of the action “A Day without Turnstiles” are invited to master classes of the Studio “Workshop Artist”, dedicated to the basics of acting and stage speech.

The cultural center “Hitrovka” helps young directors to create and implement their creative projects. The tour includes a visit to the reconstructed historical cellars of the 18th century, the theater platform and much more.

The Central Moscow Hippodrome is also open for visiting. During the excursion, guests will learn about the architectural style of the building, about the difference between racing and horse racing, and riders from jockeys. There you can also see horse training, ride a Russian troika and take photographs as a souvenir.

Among the new participants in the action are a private gallery, an interior bureau, and a VR club. Anna Sharkunova, a designer, will talk about the skills required in many creative fields, including cinema, theater and interior design. She will take you on a tour of the interior bureau. In the VR club, Muscovites and city guests will be introduced to the history of the creation and development of virtual reality technologies.
