Servicemen of the motorized rifle units of the Central Military District (CVO), stationed in the Kemerovo Region, performed test exercises in extreme driving on BMP-2M infantry fighting vehicles.

The driver-mechanics had to overcome the track more than 10 km long. The distance included various obstacles such as a water hazard, a track bridge, ravines, mud ditches, slopes. In addition, the servicemen practiced turning the vehicles 90 degrees, overcoming ups and downs in a wooded area. Compliance with the standards was carried out at the highest possible speeds. The driver-mechanics also practiced loading equipment onto railway platforms.

About 300 servicemen of the formation and over 10 units of military equipment were involved in the performance of crediting exercises in extreme driving of combat vehicles.

The combined arms formation of the Central Military District is deployed in the Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Omsk, Tyumen, Irkutsk Regions, Altai Territory and Tuva. It includes motorized rifle, artillery and anti-aircraft missile formations, NBC defense and communications troops.
