The strategic missile submarine Alexander Nevsky of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) returned to its permanent base in Kamchatka after successfully completing missions at sea.

At the pier, the submariners were met by the command of the Pacific Fleet Submarine Forces, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Russian Armed Forces, officers of the submarine formation headquarters, the administration of the Vilyuchinsky urban district, relatives and friends.

According to the report of the Borey project nuclear submarine commander, the crew completed the assigned combat mission, the materiel is in good order, the personnel are healthy. The commander of the Pacific Fleet’s submarine forces, Vice-Admiral Vladimir Dmitriev, congratulated the missile carrier’s personnel and, according to tradition, presented the crew with a roast pig. In addition, the most distinguished servicemen were awarded with departmental medals and certificates, and thanks were announced.

After replenishing all types of material reserves, the crew of the submarine cruiser will begin preparing to perform new tasks for their intended purpose.
