The government continues to provide support to the Far Eastern regions, whose residents have suffered from severe floods. The Trans-Baikal Territory will receive the next tranche from the reserve fund. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

We are talking about the amount of 4.28 billion rubles. Most – 3.93 billion rubles – will go towards providing direct payments to citizens who have been left homeless. Another 350 million rubles will be allocated for the repair and restoration of damaged houses and apartments.

The funds provided by the Government will help almost 2 thousand families faced with full or partial loss of property.

An order was also signed on the allocation of 922 million rubles to the Jewish Autonomous Region. This money will help support the residents of the Jewish Autonomous Region, who suffered from the floods last year.

In summer, floods occurred in certain regions of the Far Eastern Federal District due to heavy rains.
