Volunteers of the institute – cadets of the 2nd year of the Faculty of Law Enforcement Activity became the participants of the action “Let’s clean the planet of garbage”. The purpose of this action is to draw people’s attention to the problems of environmental pollution, as well as to develop the skills of a respectful attitude to nature, and to increase the level of ecological culture.

“Armed” with gloves and garbage bags, the cadets went to one of the sections of the Sokolinaya Mountain, Kuibyshevsky District, Novokuznetsk. The place for cleaning was not chosen by the volunteers by chance: here the cadets host many university events. In addition, this site is loved by the townspeople, who traditionally spend their free time here. But, unfortunately, not all outdoor enthusiasts are accustomed to picking up trash after themselves. Leaving waste on the ground, they do not think that they will not be able to return here soon … And it is gratifying that there are people like volunteers who are trying to “fight” for the cleanliness of our common home.

The cadets approached the garbage collection seriously and responsibly, in a coordinated and thorough manner they cleared practically every meter of the territory from garbage. Even the good weather helped them that day. As a result, they managed to collect more than 20 bags of waste, which were transferred to special containers.

According to one of the participants of the event, for him and his classmates, participation in an environmental campaign is not just concern for the environment, it is a concern for the future of the planet.

It should be noted that the volunteers of the Kuzbass Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia are active participants in city subbotniks and other volunteer actions aimed at maintaining a favorable environmental situation in the region.
