Foreign servicemen from three states study at the International Mine Action Center of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, stationed in the Moscow Region.

Military personnel from Burkina Faso are being trained in humanitarian demining, improvised explosive device countermeasures and mine clearance training programs.

The center also trains officers from the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Islamic Republic of Iran under the “Commander of the humanitarian unit” program.

The center has created facilities for a training and material base for training foreign military personnel in the field of humanitarian demining, taking into account the experience of performing tasks in Syria and training Syrian military personnel. Foreign specialists are trained by teachers with combat experience and practical demining experience.

All practical classes are held in specially equipped classrooms and on the training grounds of the training complex.

At the end of the training, a final exam is held with the acceptance of tests and the issuance of a state diploma of the established form.

In total, more than 200 foreign servicemen from neighboring countries and beyond have been trained at the International Mine Action Center under retraining programs.
